According to the public relations report of Kosar University, and according to the Vice-Chancellor of Academic and Research, Islamic World Science & Technology Monitoring and Citation Institute, has published the latest list of the world's top 1% most cited Iranian researchers in 22 subject areas of science, based on the Basic Science Index (ESI) database.

According to this report, 938 Iranian researchers were among the world's top 1% most cited researchers in 2023, Dr. Emran Tohidi from Kosar University is also among the researchers with more than 1018 citations.

It should be noted that the published report based on the information of the basic indicators of science, which publishes the list of the most cited researchers in a period of 10 years in bimonthly form, that the number of researchers included in this list has grown by 12% compared to last year, 1401.
