Kosar University Faculty Member Among World's Top 2% of Researchers
According to Kosar University's Public Relations, and based on the report from the Academic and Research Deputy, the latest findings from a joint project by Elsevier and a group of Stanford University researchers, known as the Stanford University List and published in the Elsevier scientific database in October 2023, have categorized the world's top scientists across 22 subject areas and 174 sub-fields from all universities globally. Dr. Emran Tohidi, a faculty member of the University's Mathematics Department, has been recognized among the world's top 2% of scientists for 2022. This research, utilizing Scopus citation data, classified scientists into five main subject areas, evaluating approximately 200,000 scientists in total. According to this ranking, published in the Elsevier scientific database in October 2023, 2,141 scientists from Iran were identified among the world's leading scientists in 22 scientific disciplines and 176 sub-disciplines from universities worldwide.
